How do I report inappropriate behaviour on Tikotak? We want Tikotak to be a safe place for all our members and community to find their partner. Tap the Report user on any Profile or Match to report someone instantly for inappropriate behaviour.
Do I have to upload or delete a photo? All users are required to upload at least one profile photo. This is helps other members determine if you are suitable for them. You control who can and can't see your photos, go to Profile then active Private Photos.

How do I change my gender? If you incorrectly set your gender when signing up we can help you to change it but you need go to the top left in Tikotak app then select Support, tap on select topic, choose Support, select now then type and explain the situation then Send Request we promise to get back to you as soon as we can.
How do I delete my Tikotak account? We're sad to see you go. If you have a problem or concern with our apps, we'd love to hear from you. Otherwise if you're sure you'd like to remove your account please follow below steps.
To permanently delete your account, go to the top left in Tikotak app and tap on Settings, select reason then Delete Account.
How can I Log out of Tikotak? To Log out your account, go to the top left in Tikotak app and tap on Settings, then Log out.
How do I turn off push notifications? To control Notification, go to the top left in Tikotak app and tap on Settings, then Notification On/Off.
What is Instant Match? Just tap the ⚡️ button on any profile you haven't Matched with yet. If they Like you back then it will match and you can both chat for Free. It's free for everyone to reply and you can send as many messages as you wish while Matched.
Note: for members privacy policy reasons we do limited this service which is members can use every 6-12 hours or specified time from Tikotak.
How do I match or chat with someone on Tikotak? Tap ♥️ Like button, on any new profile to express interest. If they Like you back you can instant message within the app in Chat. If you discover someone especially special and want to show your sincerity and enthusiasm as well as match them even if they ♥️ yet to Like you back, use Instant Match tapping the ⚡️ button on a profile.
I accidentally Passed on someone? You can change your mind on any Pass by going to Explore then Passed , tapping their profile and then the ♥️ Like button.
How do I unmatch or Block someone? Tap the Chat with user in Conversation and then select Block user to unmatch and Block.
Note: Once Blocked they will move to the Block tab in the Explore tab and you can unblocked user anytime by taping Unblock this user in users chat.

Can I message someone I have not matched with? Only members who have Liked one another are able to Chat. If you don't want to wait, or are really need to message someone, you can use Instant Match just tap the ⚡️ button on any profile you haven't Matched with yet.
What is Explore? Explore contains all of the activity that relates to you Tikotak. Here you can see who Likes, Dislike, Passed you and see your Favourites Match and Block.
Why does your app need my location? We use your location to show you users nearby that match your Search Preferences. Your location is only ever determined once when you launch the application to help preserve your phone's battery life.
Note: We intentionally never show your exact location for privacy reasons, and only show the nearest largest town.

If I favourite someone, do they know? Favouriting a profile is like private bookmark to make it easier to find them again later. The other user is never notified that you favourite them.
I do not want to be discoverable anymore, how do I go offline? Go to your Profile on top left or bottom right in Tikotak app . When disabled you will only be visible to existing Matches, and will not show up in DISCOVER or EXPLORE.

How do I change my location? We always use your phone's current GPS location to show you users nearby that match your Search Preferences. Your location is only ever determined once when you launch the application to help preserve your phone's battery life.
Note: We intentionally never show your exact location for privacy reasons. To see members from another country use the Search Filters to select a different country.
How do I delete a chat? To remove a chat, go to conversation then swipe to left to delete.
Why have I been blocked from using Tikotak? We take the safety and security of our platform extremely seriously. Every report made is manually investigated and action immediately taken once sufficient evidence is present. We either issue a member with a warning regarding inappropriate behaviour, or they can be issued a temporary block on their account. This will lock them out of using Tikotak at all. In the most severe cases a permanent block may be applied to an account, meaning they will never be able to use Tikotak again. Neither their email or details can be reused.
Note: That duplicate accounts are against our terms and conditions and any such accounts will similarly be blocked.
Why my account was banned? (Your account has been banned for violating our terms) Your accounts that don't follow our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy that's why it's banned without warning. We suggest that you review the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy carefully. Keep in mind, we permanently removed your account for violating our terms because user safety is always at top of mind, and we don't take violations of our policies lightly. At the moment, we don't offer a formal appeals process. If you've been banned, you won't be able to sign up for Tikotak again.
Note: If you don't see a banned message, you may be experiencing a login issue. If your account was deleted by you or someone with your password, there's no way to restore it. You can create a new account with the same email address you used before.
